Dr. Dermarkarian Headshot

Dr. Dermarkarian has been in private practice for more than 20 years. He specializes in Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. His current patient population consists of both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. He is one of the few Pulmonologists, in the area, certified to perform the EBUS procedure at Martin Health Systems.

Dr. Dermarkarian completed his medical education at Ain-Shams Medical School in Cairo, Egypt and his post-doctoral training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He then completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at both, Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical School located in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Dermarkarian is an instructor in Medicine at both Harvard Medical School and Florida State University, where he currently provides instruction. He is often sought after as an educational speaker for fellow colleagues and the community relating to Pulmonary Diseases.

Dr. Dermarkarian is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. He is a current member of American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, American Thoracic Society, Martin County Medical Society, and a Fellow, American College of Chest Physicians.

Currently, Dr. Dermarkarian is accepting new patients for Pulmonary Disease and Rebecca Beyer, APRN is following all of Dr. Dermarkarian’s Primary Care patients.
